CALL FOR PAPERS
The Call for Papers deadline has been extended until Monday, April 19, 2010.
Call for Papers Guidelines:
- All interested professionals are invited to submit papers to be considered for inclusion in the Workshops and Original Paper Sessions, via www.iapspconference.org
- Papers and workshops must be relevant to Self Psychology.
- These workshops and paper sessions are scheduled for one and one-half hours, which will include the actual presentation and a discussion by a faculty member and the audience.
- The paper may be up to 18 pages, double-spaced, with the font to be no smaller than 12 point, and with 1.25 inch margins on all four sides.
- If the paper is accepted, the final presentation will be limited to 30 minutes.
*** Paper Submission Process ***
- The deadline for paper submission is April 19, 2010.
- No names are to appear on the paper and abstract.
- In addition to the paper, please submit the following materials:
- Call for Papers Cover Sheet (electronic version available at www.iapspconference.org)
- One Paragraph Abstract and One Educational Objective for your presentation (At the conclusion of presentation, the participant will be able to: (describe, explain, illustrate)
Items should be on the same page and must be typed.)
- Brief Curriculum Vitae (no more than 2 pages)
- All submissions must be sent through www.iapspconference.org
- Due to accreditation application requirements, all of these materials must be submitted in order for your paper to be reviewed. We regret that papers submitted without all of the above items cannot be considered for review.

- All submitted papers will be reviewed by the Program Committee.
- Authors will be notified of the Committee's decision by July 12, 2010
Paper and Workshop sessions are limited by space availability.
Hosted by the International Association for Psychoanalytic Self Psychology (IAPSP)
The conference is dedicated to two individuals who have had a unique importance to Self Psychology. That is, it will honor the achievements of Bernard Brandchaft and memorialize the sad loss this year of Andrew Morrison, who contributed so extensively to IAPSP and to psychoanalysis in general. The conference will feature the soon-to-be published book titled Toward an Emancipatory Psychoanalysis: Brandchaft's Intersubjective Vision, and authored by Bernard Brandchaft, Shelley Doctors and Dorienne Sorter.
