Supporting Clinicians Who Work with Couples

We warmly invite you to join The Couples Therapy Interest Group! Established several years ago, our group serves two key purposes:

to provide a Self Psychologically informed forum that supports clinicians working with couples, and
to broaden the theoretical scope of Self Psychology to encompass patients’ lived relationships.

Our primary platform is the Couples Therapy Listserv / Discussion Board, where members engage in ongoing discussions on relevant topics. Additionally, we host an annual discussion of a significant paper in the field and a “Listserv Live” gathering at the annual conference.

The Listserv / Discussion Board is a private discussion space exclusively for members. We kindly ask that all posts adhere to established posting guidelines, maintaining a respectful and professional tone while staying focused on topics related to couples therapy. Please note that individual posts reflect the views of their authors and not necessarily those of IAPSP.
